Self-employed

After completing the training in different Phulpur Upazilas, 3992 youth and youth women, irrespective of their acceptance of self-initiatives, youth loans, employment banks and agricultural banks, have been established in the form of self employment and by eliminating unemployment by creating their own employment opportunities.
Plantation Program
Through the financial assistance of the Youth Development Department, 500 fruits and trees were planted through self-help organizations at Viitkandi crossing on the Dhaka-Sherpur Highway Rastra. Meanwhile, 307 trees are currently adaptable. The estimated financial cost is approximately 11,00,000 / - (eleven lakh).
National Service Program (4th Episode):
Under the National Service Program of Phulpur Upazila under the National Service Program (4th episode), 978 people in Phulpur upazila have temporarily created new jobs by 976 people after attachment to various government institutions at AA upazila after completing 03 (three) month period.
Agricultural Bank:
Employment opportunities have been created by providing loan of Rs. 65,50,000 / - (65 lakhs fifty thousand taka) to the 295 unemployed youth / youth women, under the joint coordination with the Youth Development Department and Bangladesh Agricultural Bank.
Employment Bank:
After the launch of Phulpur upazila branch of the Employment Bank branch, employment opportunity has been created by providing loans of 42,36,000 / - (thirty five thousand thirty six thousand) to 42 unemployed youth and youth women trained in different trade from the Department of Youth Development. 4 (four) people have been paid 4,00,000 / - (four lacs) in the financial year.
Distribution of donation among youth organizations:
The donation of 1,20,000 / - (one hundred and twenty thousand) in 10 youth organizations from the youth welfare fund has been distributed.
Completed project details:


01. Networking Projects
In order to transform Bangladesh into digital Bangladesh, the youth development department has accepted the networking project to provide training to youth society on computer and internet. The program has been implemented through two organizations in Fulpur upazila. Through this project, 200 youths and youths have been given awareness training and 50 young and young women have been trained on computer and internet.
